Lover's Leap State Park Engagement Session - Callie + Matt
Callie and Matt reached out to me as they were planning their wedding at Lounsbury House in Ridgefield, CT. I was very thrilled as I really like that venue and wanted to work there. While we were talking about them, their wedding and what not, Callie mentioned they also wanted to have an engagement session done and were not sure about the location. “I know just the perfect one!” - I said. Lover’s Leap State Park couldn’t be a better choice for any engagement session, proposal or intimate ceremony. The name speaks for itself!
We scheduled their engagement session for the weekend of Thanksgiving. It was nice and crisp in the air. We began shooting at the red bridge. It is simply amazing. With its rich textures and patterns it offers a lot of creativity and angles for great shots.
Then we took a little hike through the woods, encountered a fallen tree that was kinda blocking the way, but not for me. I saw a great opportunity of shooting through it (see below). And then of course, when I see a tall yellow grass I can’t pass by it…
And finally the view! Kinda scary, not gonna lie. But so peaceful and romantic. So we spent some time there, enjoying it, laughing and taking more amazing pictures (artistic ones as well).
